Teaching and Learning at Community Colleges
Community colleges are multi function institutions. Some students enroll in these colleges as the first two years of a four-year university education with primarily academic content while others attend to learn specific vocational skills in two-year degree programs or even one year certificate programs. This presentation will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of this multifunction post-secondary educational design and assess the applicability of the approach to the postsecondary systems in other countries.
